2025 was an uneventful year for my extracurricular activities. Though I am now wrapping up my undergraduate carreer, I know that I haven't accomplished as much as I setout to upon the onset of this year. In this blog (first one BTW 🎉) I am going through 3 goals I set for myself this year and the progress I made on each.
This goal was wholly missed. In total, through all of my projects I made $0.00 this year. This is very impressive, I know, but accounting for the amount of money I spent on launching products (~$75), I netted -$75.00 going into 2026. For most people this would be a big disappointment, but this goal is not super impactful to me because I have not monetized any of the projects I completed this year. All the projects have no ads, no donations, and no subscriptions currently. This provides me some solace, but it will be something I aim for again in 2026.
Again, I largely missed the mark on this goal. Though within these last two weeks I began the process of posting content, I still feel I have nothing to say and if I do I don’t know where to post it. This is a problem that could be easily remedied if I simply applied the “post like no one is listening” mindset, but that doesn’t seem to work for me. I prefer to imagine people actually paying attention to the content I make. When I know it will fall on deaf ears, it is difficult to motivate myself.
This goal I completed (kind of). I launched 3 projects to the public (tennisdle, taskstats, sharp0k) but sharp0k is not a project in the regard I intended it when I wrote the goal. In reality I will credit myself for completing this 2/3 of this goal which is the highest completion percentage of any goal.
Overall, I let myself down with my entrepreneurial goals this year. Since November I began making more progress in a better direction which I am proud of but I know that I could’ve done much more and will ensure I continue this dedication into 2026.
